Anyone heard of the 'Double Trolley'? The orchestral-stool / bass-wheel in one?

http://www.doubletrolley.com/

It's a lot of money...$500USD

But it seems like it would eliminate a lot of burden (carrying the bass and a stool)

Has anyone tried this / heard of it / own it?

Thanks

I would rather have my stand from KC strings with the stool incorporated into it. It breaks down and goes into a bag that you carry like a back pack if you want.

One of the bass players at the camps had one a few years back and I tried it out. It's a brilliant design, and worked well for the guy who brought it. For me, the stool wasn't balanced in the way I like, and the footrests were in the wrong place for the way I normally sit (I use the higher rungs on a regular barstool). However, these are personal preferences, and for someone who likes the ease of use and the padded seat, which I must admit was nice, it could be a real schlep saver.

as flip says, if you don't need the stool, check out the Bass Buggie from KC Strings. I love it. Better than a Kolstein Stroller and better than an endpin wheel.

+1 for The KC Strings Bass Buggie. In Hong Kong I take my bass on the subway and often walk many blocks with it daily. Makes my life a lot simpler.
