This band has 7 bassists. THEY ALL PLAY BASS

Each member of Moonalice plays Bass ... I just realized that after researching them some. I've been rocking out to them for a while now .. they have an old skool vibe to them .. how music should be .. without synths and all those computerized beats ... I'm loving their sound. They sound like another band right .. but I can't put my finger on it ... who do they sound like? Whatever they're still good .. check them out on www.myspace.com/moonalice ... I personally like Kick it Open the most .. 5 of the members also sing.

That's not a band, it's a supergroup, including Pattitucci, Billy Sheehan, Tony Levin and Dave Pomeroy.

If you're trying to pimp your band, at least say so.

I somehow got lost here. I thought I was in the Double Bass section of the TB Forums. The one about Basses. My bad......
I know nothing of guitars.

Spinal Tap, 'Big Bottom' - the whole band is playing slab, the bass player has a double-neck BG!

That was INSANE. I probably identified most with Sheehan, since I'm a pretty big Mr. Big fan. Levin was playing the "stick", right? Not that I didn't like the other guys, but I dug Sheehan and Levin the best. Who was playing the P fretless? That was pretty nifty too.

Awesome, and thanks very much for sharing this.

To reply to the OP, sounds kind of Tom Petty-ish. Good stuff.
