Didn't I see Barney Rubble playing a bass exactly like that one on the Flintstones?

I don't know why, but I may bid on that thing. It's hilarious!

I must be tired because, God help me, I like it! I didn't know Paul Klee ever designed double basses.

Nobody wanted to pony up the $99 opening bid, so it went unsold. So how much would you pay for it? I would pay as much as $45, maybe $50 if I was in a good mood...I figure at least I'd get some cool art value out of it. It sure is goofy but in a lovable way.

I'd do $45-50 if it had any sound at all. Maybe get a gig in the local lodge. It'd be worth a few bucks to have something to play while floating down the river in a canoe; or next to the fire. Wouldn't have to worry about the seams popping!
