Hard to tell without seeing the bass in person. It does look like a nice bass though. How much are they asking?

It looks more like a straight up Panormo copy to me than the Hawkes version, very much like one in my section. Compare with a Panormo here:

As to its origin, an experienced luthier might be able to tell at least if it's Chinese. I know that there are some Romanian Panormo copies being made, and it looks a little bit Romanian to me (for various imprecise reasons that might be incorrect), so Romanian is my guess.

How much is it and how does it sound and play? These are the most important questions!

What about the bass that is in Ukraine? No good? I think you should turn your "guess the bass" threads into an official TB game show. LOL

But yesterday I found some bass near me and take it for 250$ incl. 3 bows
