Bass info needed

Hi all,
I'm going to look at a bass that someone local has for sale. According to the owner it's a Wright/Carney bass, and it's not Chinese.

Has anyone ever heard of this manufacturer? And if so, what can you tell me about their instruments? I haven't been able to find anything on the 'net about it.
