Is there a concise place to be able to discern say, an Italian from a German from a French?

I would like to get better at IDing basses, since some of you do it so well

I hope you understand that in my case, I identified that tiroler because I have one. It takes time and a good bit of hanging with instruments and their owners, IMHO.

Your Luthiers (I have had many fine ones work on my bass), will teach you, free of charge, LOL!
