| A&G are good people, I used to get my setups done there when I lived up north. The basses they carry are on the inexpensive side (chinese), but they're very well made in my opinion. I think the designs were done with Barry Green's input. I bought a bass from A&G a while back, and while I've since replaced it with a higher-end instrument, I still use it as my jazz bass and a lot of the jazz guys I know swear by A&G basses.
