Wink Basses in Ottawa for Rent?

Hi there, I'm in Ottawa until the 17th of June. I'm going to be needing a 3/4 or 7/8th sized bass to play on during my stay. Does anyone know of any stores or people that are willing to rent out a bass for that time period? I tried Peter Dawson's but they had only ply-woods and stuff in really horrible condition.

If any TB members are willing to lend me their extra bass that would be great too, I would of course pay decently to make it worthwhile on your part.

Mods, if this post is in the wrong forum please feel free to move it.

Thanks,

-Calvin

Believe me when I say there's nothing here at all Calvin. If you were playing jazz I'd say the only luck you will have is borrowing one from one of the players in town. If you're talking classical then perhaps you could try contacting Don Gorman and see if you would be willing to rent you a bass. Guy Harrison also has one - a bass that he made that just sits in his shop. However it's quite small (an Amati copy). Both might be interested on the basis of a possible sale at least.
