Big Bright Yellow end pin!!!

I am thinking about painting my end pin yellow! seems like a lot of times, people that actually know better end up kicking my bass and getting caught on my end pin, getting in or out of stage.
Even when I warn people, and ask them to please pay attention.
At one point I had a little red flag attache to it! and guess what?? it worked!!
that's without mentioning that as soon as you finish a concert and get off the stage there are sound guys all over the place breaking down the stage and wrapping chords and eventually the plugs will hit your bass!
that puts me in a bad mood!

How about a red flasher that cyclist use so that they can be noticed at night?

Uh, that would look pretty ugly for the audience.

Try putting the endpin in during breaks. I usually put my bass between the cello and viola section with the endpin pointing at the conductor's stand with the back close to the viola chairs.

Maybe you could hook your end pin up to an electric fence charger. That'll learn 'em!

Paint your endpin angularly stripped red and white like a old fashioned barbers pole. Install a little motor in your bass and attach it to the endpin and let the Pin spin with glee. If you don't impress folk with your playing then you can dazzle them with your creative instrument amenities and procurements. HAW!

Just put the endpin in. People walk into it because they're not looking at all, not because your current endpin is camouflaged.
