Bottesinis bass

http://bottesini.com/alife/gbbass.html

Is this a legitimate sight? It says a lot of stuff from bottesinis bow being owned by a Japanese car manufacturer to his bass being owned by Gary automobile (a famouse bassist supposedly) and a secret organization set out to destroy french bows, remove bottesini from history which is being sabatoged into the bass world and isb. Sort of sounds like a whole lot of nonsense but it is actually a very entertaining read. Any truth to it?

Bottesini purchased it for 900 lire. That's about 50 cents.

Chris, are you serious?
you never heard of the "I hate bottesini" society with the great Gary automobile (means car in italian) as his President?
You should be more serious about your bass studies !

I know, I know I am just ignorant!
Still one of the more entertaining reads about bass on the web.

And I worded that incorrectly Gary car (haha CAR) is a very famous bassist (googles him and nothing came up but that's what the website said) who plays bottesini as well as his own arrangments of 70s movie theme songs. He bought the bass at some point.
According to the website, the bottesini hater not only potentially killed him but also his family and they shouldn't even be talking about it because of "security risks" and the bottesini haters are traced with the isb.
This is sounding less and less believable by the second, but if it is a work of fiction, it is a very thought out and entertaining read to say the least. Il devastator is also very entertaining, same website (there's a link somewhere)
Hehe I hope a bottesini hater doesn't kill me in my sleep tonight for sharing this link!

More real-world-oriented post on this forum last spring about this matter: BOTTESINI's TESTORE: where it it today?

Apparently the bass is really unexceptional anyway.
