Bought a new double bass!

Got a new bass today. It's a new solid carved 3/4 german bass and it was dealt (and perhaps built?) by GEWA. It sounds great with a rich even tone all over the instrument. It looks real cool too which is a plus.
So far very happy with it

Pacman you hit the Nail on the Head. When I took the Hook a few years ago I had no idea what I had gotten myself into. I love the Double Bass. The "Dang Thang" like...calls to me from the corner of the room...uhhh..uh...I need help
