Bozo Paradzik

Holy Schmoly, what a player! Just checked out a Youtube clip of him. Anybody know what bass he's playing? Man I'm inspired to start shedding the classical repetoire again. I've been checking out Catalin Rotaru's work. ( he also plays a Golia bass). There must be something in that Eastern European water! ( either that or those guys work REAL hard!)

Bozo version of the Hadyn Cello Concerto is truly astounding, I've never been a big fan of Hadyn but that is awesome. Also his playing of the Gliere Four Pieces is great. I'm a huge fan of his now. I'm amazed also that his physical approach is very much different than most of the great soloists. Most play either standing with the bass very high(Gary Karr, Edgar Meyer), or sitting almost cello like (Catalin Rotaru), but Bozo plays his bass almost with more of an orchestral positioning, standing with the bass rather low. This kind of reminds me of Borguslaw Furtok. Either way he is an incredible player and it's good that you started a thread, because his playign has not been discussed much yet.

and he is a true gentleman, he is truly a kind person.

He likes modern instruments and bows. He uses solo spiros and orchestral spiros from top to bottom.
