Busetto corners

That Ebay post got me thinkin'; anybody out there owned, built, or know anything about Busetto-cornered basses? I'm interested in details regarding construction and history.

This might give you an idea about the history...

I know that Pollmann builds basses with Busetto corners. Christopher offers Busetto on all models from plywood on up.

Call me superficial, but all things being equal, I'd choose a Busetto bass because it looks so damn cool.

Busetto is beautiful. I had a Kaakstein bass from 1890 that was just gorgeous. It allegedly was formerly owned by Serge Koussevitsky's son. If I can figure out how, I'll post a picture.
They're sometimes referred to as 'Klotz corners', for Matthias Klotz, 1656-1743, Mittenwald.

Thanks for the input, guys. Dave, that pic of a true "Busetto" cleared things up for me. That is one beautiful bass.
