Bying another bass, let's discuss it!

I'm currently playing an Ibanez SR760.

I like it!

Since i've been playing alot for a couple of years it's time to expand.

I'm thinking of going ibanez BTB400qm.

I've been looking at it a couple of times and i really like the looks, and a friend of mine is now selling one of these in mint condition.

I've only played it through my practice amp so far, i like the sound, uncertain if it will blend in well though. It will meet my doomsday device(svt4, 610hlf) and my band next week.

The BTB has alot of piano like ring, but still manages the lows. Whilst the sr760 is more mid and bottom heavy imo.

I'm thinking of using the btb mostly as a recording/practice unit. Since it's more versitile but alot harder to play.

What is !YOUR! opinion on the btb400qm, pros, cons.

A few technical questions.
The bass has two 9v batteries, is the eq 18v or what?
does the BTB have passive or active pickups?

greetz from sweden!
