Case for removable neck bass

Does anyone know where I can find the manufacturer of this or a similar case for a bass with a detatchable neck?

http://cgi.ebay.com/High-quality-dou...item2a035fd631

I contacted the seller directly and they would not sell me one. My apologies if I just broke some forum rule about links and posting. My intention was not to sell some overpriced Chinese junk on epay; I'm trying to find one of these cases for my personal bass, as featured in the thread, "james' bass build". Currently, I use an oversized military surplus case, but this one looks perfect for the job. I know there are a few other folks who could use one around here. I don't know of any US manufacturer that makes a "stubby" like this.

Is this an improvement over your current military case?

It does look stronger than the ebay case you posted about.

Christopher sells them. Should be able to order it from a retailer that sells their stuff. http://www.christopher-bass.de/chrissirn_e.html

I believe that Bill Merchant also sells a case for a removable neck bass. "I can modify ANY bass' neck to make it bolt in, usually for under $500. I also have cases for such a modified bass." http://www.merchantbass.com/acoustic/traveler.htm

Thanks for the links. I'll give the Christopher folks a try.

Calton makes fantastic cases, but considering that the one for my mandolin goes for about $500 (or more), I can't imagine how much they would want for a bass sized model.

My surplus case actually is VERY tough and works reasonably well. I'm just trying to locate one with a more presentable look for next years trades shows. Even as a Desert Storm veteran, the redneck urban surplus look isn't the image that I'm going for these days....
