Case for Upton Hawkes - Will Gollihur bag work?

The dimensions given for each seem to be in line, although the ribs dimensions are cutting it close.

Has anyone used one of Bob's bags with their Upton Hawkes (laminated if it makes a difference)?

From Upton site:
Approximate Body Dimensions (converted to inches)
UpperBout-54cm – 21.26 inches
LowerBout-67cm – 26.38 inches
Rib-21cm – 8.27 inches
BodyLength-109cm – 42.91 inches
StringLength-105cm – 41.34 inches

From Bob's site.

In an email exchange, I had with Bob, he would not commit to saying it would fit, and he would not agree to pay the return shipping if it did not fit. Go figure.

YES! Actually, the Gollihur bag fits BETTER than the Upton bag. My is a bit stretched from years of use, so that might be a factor. At any rate, I have the deluxe UB and the bob bag and bob's bag fits better. I sold it with my old bass though, cause the UB bas ahs some nice features I like.

I have a bag that is the same dimensions as Bob's bag (the Kaces III) and it fits the HH perfectly.

I appreciate the responses. Now I just need to drop some subtle hints to my wife.

Sorry, I thought you'd understand that I could not guarantee a case would fit a bass that you didn't have on hand to measure.

The concern was the higher upper bout, and those measurements were not available. Apparently it's a good fit.
