I've owned Mooridian, Reunion Blues as well as others, and this is my favorite. It has thick padding and is MUCH easier to open and close.

I got mine about 7 years ago, other then a small tear that i sowed back together the case has served me well. I used to take my bass back and forth to high school everyday, there were the few accidental door frames and chairs that got in my way. And with the inch+ of padding all around the case, it did no damage to my bass. If My case ever broke, I would go out and buy another one right away *i might be tempted for a hard case, But thats a second choice.* |

If you want to keep your bass safe and to just make a great investment, get or Mooridian. They are the #1 BEST bass cases out there.

As long as the case has enough protection? There have not been many cases that i have seen, either right or center zipper, that have an inch+ of padding like the protec. |

| | Registered User Builder for Audiokinesis and Fearful speakers Endorser for EA, Roscoe | | | | | thanks for the info Hey Guys
Thanks for the info. Actually, I've been playing bass and touring around the world for about 30 years.I've had bags from Mooridian back when you would send him the actual dimensions of your bass and he's make them custom. I've owned Reunion Blues bags as well as others. I checked out the Protecs and they look like great bags. Most damage that I've seen with basses in bags wouldn't have made a difference whether the bags had 1/2 or 1" of padding. I think that good padding is important, but knocked over bridges, rib damage, and other impact-related damage would not have had less impact with 1" over 1/2" of padding. Anyway, the current bass I play came with a front zipper bag. This bag has decent padding and is pretty heavy duty. It's just that ( for me) the front zipper is MUCH easier to use. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
