Charton now has a hybrid bass (composite back, shoulders and lower bout, wood top), modeled on his B21. Interesting stuff, although there are some truly bizarre scrolls. No English version of the C21 pages yet.

I'm majorly intrigued. Looks like it's under the magic 50# weight limit. Looks like it might be oversize, though. He's a fabulous maker--- I'd bet that with the composite back and carved top it sounds great.
