Chicago DB teachers with classical/orchestral focus

I'm looking for suggestions as to teachers with a classical/orchestral focus available for private lessons in Chicago.

PMs are fine but a forum response might help others with the same question. The topic has not come up for some years now.

I tried to post this in "Pedagogy" but, since I'm not a teacher, my attempt was blocked.

Thanks.

Greg Sarchet is great. I studied with him years ago so you'll have to see if he is taking on students. I think he teaches at Northeastern, Roosevelt, and Columbia for contact info.

Have you tried getting a hold of the Chicago Symphony? When I was taking private lessons in high school my DB teacher played in the Grand Rapids Symphony, studying with him put me lightyears ahead of the other bassists at my school. He would even come in on occasion and teach sectionals.

Jason Heath, Andy Anderson, Phillip Serna, Rob Kassinger all teach. Christian Dillingham is a good young guy.
