Dallas shops?

Any recommendations on places in the Dallas/Ft Worth area with a nice selection of double basses? I've been playing a Wan Bernadel for the past 6 or so years and love it, but want to try something new. I play jazz for the most part. Thanks TBers.

I just ended my quest for a bass in dallas yesterday. Here is a list of shops and what I thought about their basses. I was looking at the <$5000 range for mostly classical, but I also wanted a good pizz tone.
Brook Mays: They had a really nice Wilfer, the top was repaired poorly, but the tone was super. If I didn't end up with the Solano, I would have gotten this. They also had a Czech carved top that didn't sound that bad, and a few plywood basses.

J R Rury: they had some Hungarian hybrid that sounded ok. bowing was not it's strong point.

Fiddle & Bow: They had a generic Chinese ply bass that wasn't the best.

I would definently start with Brook Mays, and if you do decide to buy from them, talk them way down. I got them down to $5000 with case/bow on the Wilfer marked $7000

Also see Williamson's in Plano and Grahms (sp) in Arlington.

But, Solano's are real nice.

EJ Dad is right on, Williamson's or Grahms. David Grahm is really a great repairman/builder of uprights.
