DB/EUB fingerboard; straight or relief?

Hello you all with the big basses, especially those of you who build these great instruments.
I'm building an EUB for myself, mainly for pizzicato playing. I bought an used ebony fingerboard for this build. The board has quite a lot relief at the moment (about 4,5mm, I guess this is the reason it has been removed in the first place).
How much relief do you prefer on the finished neck? I can make the maple part of the neck thicker to be able to plane the board flat if needed. I'm going to use carbon rods in the neck so strength is not going to be a problem.

The basic target is about 1 mm under the G string to 2.5 mm under the E. Adjust as necessary.
