The G string has slightly damaged winding where it went over the nut on my old bass, I don't have much to compare them to except the strings the bass came with, anyone know what they would be? As far as playing, it is a world apart from my old Antoni. The strings are nice and low with absolutely no buzz. Good solid tone perhaps a bit on the soft side? but that's probably just my playing.
Hey Jack it certainly is no where near as interesting as most of the other books on the shelf. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: May 2009 Location: London | | Typical Bass player, Its not a cornet, it's a piccolo trumpet.  Trumpet is my first instrument but just love standing close to the bass when improvising. I also figured there is no better way to learn harmony than from the bottom. |
