Oh sure, but you weren't having too much fun not to "bother" to hook us in!
Pictures by 8:00 PM EST or there's gonna be trouble.

Congrats!

It's beautiful! How's it strung? How's it play?

What did you think of Ramsden's book on the Tory party?

My previous bass was a busetto. Her name was Muffin.

Its strung with Evolution 140H (Honey) strings. The G string has slightly damaged winding where it went over the nut on my old bass, I don't have much to compare them to except the strings the bass came with, anyone know what they would be? As far as playing, it is a world apart from my old Antoni. The strings are nice and low with absolutely no buzz. Good solid tone perhaps a bit on the soft side? but that's probably just my playing.

Hey Jack it certainly is no where near as interesting as most of the other books on the shelf.

Low string height with no buzz--sounds like the best of both worlds to me. Congratulations on your purchase!

Typical Bass player, Its not a cornet, it's a piccolo trumpet. Trumpet is my first instrument but just love standing close to the bass when improvising. I also figured there is no better way to learn harmony than from the bottom.

I should have mentioned, BTW, that I very much like the composition in your photographs. Looks like a comfortable home for a nice DB.
