The G string has slightly damaged winding where it went over the nut on my old bass, I don't have much to compare them to except the strings the bass came with, anyone know what they would be? As far as playing, it is a world apart from my old Antoni. The strings are nice and low with absolutely no buzz. Good solid tone perhaps a bit on the soft side? but that's probably just my playing.
