Differences between Engelhardt ES1 and EM1?

Hi I need some info from u guys.
What's the differences between an Engelhardt ES1 and EM1? As far as I know ES1 has a ebony fingerboard whereas EM1 using a rosewood. Did anyone here have expereince for both? how far the differences it is? Does it worth the investment for another $400 for the ES1?
