Eastman?

Craig's List entry from my locale (I am not associated with the seller, but am in the market for a bass):

Anybody know anything about these?

Eastman basses are made in China. They are, from what I hear, very good basses with solid construction and good sound.

But you won't know whether you'll like it until you try it out. (Hint, Hint)

I have found that the Eastman basses are the best of the Chinese made basses. The Eastman company sets up the basses before they are sold. Of course, you should go play the instrument first. The seller should also let you have the bass for a trial period (3 - 7 days) before you make a final. Good ettiquette states that you should not ask for a trial period unless you are seriously considering buying the instrument. Good luck.
