Ok.. Start a pool. I don't swim much anymore but we can wait and see.
I did buy 3 other Basses last week though. Two of them were Italian (not this one) and the other.. well, I can't discuss it now. When they are all restored, I will post them on line. The Candi Bass was one of them. I will play it tomorrow at rehearsal and possibly Saturday at a concert. I don't need a C-extension for this one so the Hart and Gilkes can stay in the rack. The Martini is currently under the knife so it's out of service at the moment as well, Extension or not.
I do however have some extra pictures here of that Ebay Bass. Lots of cracks everywhere. They are supposedly repaired but that's down in Argentina. I am sure it will need a restoration shortly after being purchased regardless of by whom or from where the buyer might live. For me personally, I will not buy a bass in that supposed condition without a personal inspection by me and at least one of my Luthiers.
