Erich Pfretzschner basses

I could be a bit off with the spelling - the "z" looked pretty weird in the font on the label.

Just wondering if there are any owners of these basses out there who can share their opinions. A friend of mine has a model 884C, 3/4 size from 2002 that she's thinking of selling. I like the sound, and it only needs a a little work on the bridge to get a better arch.

Mostly wondering about the "sturdyness" of the instrument. It must be plywood, but I can't find a website for the manufacturer to be sure. Also, what did these go for new? I can't find any for sale.
