Eye Candy at Gruhn's

Was just cruising the web looking at basses, etc. and hadn't looked at Gruhn Guitars for a while. They have a nice little selection these days: a very unique blond Gibson upright - check out the work on the neck heel - and a couple of Kay S-1s among a few others. I think with the recession, vintage pieces have sat for a while, but George usually has something worth stopping in to check out, especially if you're a 6-string fan also.

Was just chatting with a guitarist today about Gruhn. He had played a $200K Les Paul at that shop a few days back. No, I don't think he bought it!

First time in there was on our honeymoon this past Oct. What a place! We missed Vince Gill by an hour, or so. He was buying that day!

Hey stacatto,
The first time I was in Gruhns was on my honeymoon as well, kind of crazy. That really is an amazing store. There's always something cool to see there.
