Fengling bass

I've run across a bass for sale listed as a Fengling MB100. I've been unable to find out anything more about this type of instrument on the threads or elsewhere. I've played it and it seems to have a decent tone, but I'm hesitant to go forth with a Chinese bass.

Has anyone had any experience with this line of bass or know any more about it?

I found their web site, but it's all Chinese to me http://www.fengling.cn/ I found an English page, but no mention of MB100. I did find a variety of model numbers, some of which began with MB.

I wonder if these basses are sold under other names, Merano, Cremora, Crystalcello?

Not much help, I'm afraid.
