It's a Gamut Lyon (made by Dan Larson) Light+, i got a good shot of all the strings going over the bridge if you are interested in seeing that...have to crop it and post it when i get home though.
That is a nice string, I think the only thing i might like more is an Oliv.
I'm still contemplating whether to order the D string to match the G or not, feel and volume are very nice pizzicato but the arco is a bit too different from the Flexocors right now

I have a lesson on thursday and i'll finally get to hear my bass being played by someone else...

Is that a 3/4 or 7/8? A local luthier currently has a SB200 7/8 in his shop (an hour or so away), don't know how much different it will be from my 3/4 SB180. Advice?

that's a 3/4 and i'm about 6'1" tall.
i wish it were a 7/8 but you know....the price difference....

can't really give you advice except it will feel different, the body is bigger which i would prefer but the mensure will be longer too.

Thumbs up Bery bery Nice!

If I feed and water my SB-90, will it grow up to be a big boy bass like that?

I got one about 9 months ago and have been thrilled. I did have to experiment with strings a bit. I'm mainly a pizz player and it is a really bright direct sounding bass. I settled on Obligatos. It sounds better and better every time I play. Enjoy.
