Selling a bass without the fingerboard attached and calling it "set up" is like advertising a house for sale to be in move in condition, just install the roof and you're good to go ! ! ! ! !  |

Still, if the board's in reasonable shape (and why isn't it being shown in all its "needs to be cleaned up" glory?) and it's included, that bass may be a nice opportunity for somebody...

You could buy a bass of similar quality for less with the fingerboard included. Especially in NYC one could buy a Chrissy or Strunal fully set up for $1800-$2000, or go to Ideal where one could purchase a Roma, Eberle, or Wilfer for that money. |
