golden strad

I have just aquired a bass that is called a Golden Strad imported years ago(1970s?) into the UK by Boosey&Hawkes (made in Hungary) and it has a slightly shorter string length of 102cm/40inch, does this fall within a 3/4 size bass, seems most this size are stated as between 104-106cms as far as i can find out, am i correct in assuming that i can use normal 3/4 strings and will this mean that on my bass with a string length of 102cm there will be a little less tension than on the more normal length of 104/106cms, cheers, Jez

What are the top length, upper bout width, center bout width, and lower bout width measurements? Some of the small 3/4 size european basses made in the 1960s and 1970s got pretty short string lengths.
