I have seen a few of these golf bag conversions over the years at various outdoor jams but, personally, those bass buggies look to be a little better designed. |

You can wheel the bass very easily and it can be used w/o the case on the bass. Also the bass can be played w/ it on as well. A real boon for those outdoor location, to location, to location jobs and/or festivals. Just wheel it over & keep playin!
A whole lot lighter and smaller than those golf carts as well.

If you *do* find a hardshell case that your bass fits in, buy a sheet of 3M microcell foam- say something around 6" thick. Cut out chunks to support your bass and glue them in to the base. |
