Very cool. I'm honestly a bit jealous. Those tuners are killer looking!

That is a very beautiful bass. Please consider storing it on its side, against the wall or back of the sofa rather than on that stand. Otherwise, I fear heartbreak.

I've used one of those stands for years and never had a problem with it. I would be more worried having my bass leaned in the corner.

Beautiful bass! Hope you get many, many years of playing out of it!

I agree with clink, FWIW. On the side or in the corner. So do the majority of professional bassists I've known for over 53 years.

On a stand in a corner is just fine. See here.

It is an "English" Extension (based on a fawcett is my understanding). It is called an "English extension" in the description papers.

I haven't been using the stand, I've actually been doing as you just said amazingly enough

Well, to start, it is a slab-cut fir top, willow back and sides and a poplar neck. I will have to get back to you with the measurements although I think my bass has identical measurements to THIS one.
I have a paper describing all the woods, measurements etc, I just need to find it.
