Has anyone heard about that luthier?

Hello everyone!Not so long ago I bought a 3\4 5 string bass ,signed by Rudolph Oberlander from Chechoslovakia.The bass is fully carved flat back and after an extensive repair( almost every seam was open,even the ebony fingerboard had to be glued again) turned out to be a magnifficent instrument
Does any one know more about that maker ?The bass was signed in 1982.
