Help ID my bass?

Hi all,

Well i've just got my bass back from my luthiers. Plays like a dream, and sounds great. But she couldn't find any marks or anything in the bass. It's had the top off, so she's had a good look (as it was converted left handed).

Any ideas would be welcomed. The shop I bought it from (prior restoration) thought it was German, and probably 1880 - 1900.
