Help Identify this Bass

I am needing some help I was going to check this bass out this weekend. This kid is selling an upright for $1200 BUT a really bad picture is all there is. I am not wanting to get a laminate type upright. He is saying it was his uncles who had it for seven years. I was wondering if anyone could identify what type of bass this is from a distance. Thanks in advance for all your help!!

Sorry Jacob but its just not possible to tell anything about that bass from a cell phone picture...

Either take some good photos of it when you go to see it or better yet, get that bass to your local DB luthier for a quick once-over.

Good luck!

Sorry jacob, I couldn't help myself. Like Jake says, it is pretty much impossible to tell from a blurry photo. Are you shopping for your first upright? Why do you say you don't want a laminate bass?
