Hybrid bass
German

Anybody got any ideas about the age? maker?

Probably a Wilfer (they made Juzek's) or similar shop bass. Looks a lot like my hybrid, especially the shape of the C-bouts and the heel. I can't see clearly but it looks like there are ebony filets along side the heel which is a classic Wilfer trait.

German shop bass. Beyond that...my Wilfer also has floral engraving on the plates, but it looks nothing like the engraving on those plates. Nice figure in the scroll.

Thanks for your info. I also have a newish Wilfer and it looks very similar. There are ebony fits along the heel indeed.

Update....
Its not a wilfer, but more likely a paesold hybrid bass.
Still looking to find out how old it is.
