HELP in Italy

I know this is a BG question and I posted it there, but we may have more Italian folks on this side(?) Anyway, can anyone help Paul out?

Hi bass friends,

I'm in Italy right now getting ready to do the Umbria Jazz Festival from July 10 -19 with Allan Harris. Half the tunes are on upright the other half on electric. The tuner to my G-string on my Yamaha electric 5-string (BB5GS for these who may have some insight in it) just broke and we hit Friday.

Any contacts you know of with Yamaha reps in Europe? Any help would be appreciated.

Much thanks,
Paul Beaudry

Those tuners aren't exclusive to Yamaha, they are a Gotoh GB7 which you should be able to find somewhere if you call around.

Umbria Jazz is a BIG festival - can't the promoters help out with that at all? As i recall, Perugia has its share of music shops so SOMETHING should be possible

from Paul, to Whisper

your advice has been invaluable, thanks for taking the time to respond. I may be getting a tuner in a day or two based your information.

I PM-ed Paul on MySpace on the very same day to provide help to him (Jul 8, 2009 10:35 PM), but he has not read the message yet. I am glad the issue is on the way to get resolved. Just in case the issue is not resolved till tomorrow morning, PM me here to help
