Hi all! and Corin Long memorial concert

Hi all!
I have just typed a long message in the part where you introduce yourself as a new member but I am not sure if it went in a bit that was just for bass guitarists. I am trying to reach all you DB players and (other instrument) playing friends who knew and worked with my late brother, Corin Long. I am organising a concert at Coz's old high school (Birstall, Leicester) which is also where our late mum was head of music for many years. If you would like to play at it, solo, duet, ensemble or with everyone else as part of our whole orchestra section, then please post here or e-mail me at vbalkwill@aol.com with details of what you would like to play, how long it lasts, which instrument and who you are playing with. Date-wise, I am aiming for 5th April 2008, but need confirmation from the school that this date is ok for them.
Money raised will go to 'the Corin Long Memorial Fund' helping college music students in financial hardship.

Hi again everyone,

Concert date now set for friday 11th April 2008 at Longslade School, Birstall, Leicester. Still looking for musicians wanting to play at this event. Free food and a (paying) bar on site. We are also looking for sponsors to help fund the event in return for an advert in the memorial programme. Proceeds go to the Corin Long Memorial fund to help music students in financial hardship.
