How much should I sell my bass for?

I've tried doing some research for this online, but I couldn't find anything for my kind of bass.

I have a Menzel 3/4 Upright Bass (One of those chinese mass made basses) and I've had it for a few years. One string has been replaced and their are a few chips in the paint. It would come with a French bow, soft case, and a bass stand.

If I decide to sell this bass and it's accessories (I'm debating it), how much should it be for? If location makes any difference, I'd be selling it in Toronto, Canada.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Bring it to a luthier, nobody will be able to give you an appraisal without actually looking at and playing your bass. You can also look on craigslist.org and ebay to see what price basses like yours are fetching.

Good luck,
Mike

Thanks. I tried ebay, but that was no help. I'll try craigslist.

+1 on bringing it to a luthier. You can have it appraised and know exactly how much you should sell it for.
