Humidity Issue??

Hi All,
I have a hybrid Eberle that has a good bridge, set up by a reputable luthier.
I keep it in my studio (in SoCal) which is normally kept around 40-42% humidity. Over the last week or so since the humidity has gone up to 50-54% according to my hygrometer.

I was playing arco on it last night and noticed that aside from the normal change in string height from swelling, the arc gap between the D and G strings seemed less than usual. I noticed that I seemed to be hitting the D string a lot when bowing on the G string.
So I was wondering, could it be the extra moisture in the bridge causing this? And has anyone else experienced this?

I've been thinking a long time about having an adjustable bridge fitted for it, so maybe now is the time to do it.

Thanks,
Ray

Its more likely to be the extra humidity in the bow hair. Try tightening it a little more - the space between the G and D strings hasn't changed.
