Gotta hear it to price it. A pretty doghouse ain't worth what the same as an ugly cannon (it's not like you can change pickups to change the sound) And, real old strings will inhibit the sound. Does the bass sound good to you and another bassist?

i had an old employee from lemur play it, he said everything sounded great, the action and set up is the best he's ever played. and the strings are just breaking in. maybe 70 hours of play on them. i told him i was asking 1500 for it, he said thats a great price.

he said "you can tell the diffrence between a 100yr old fully carved bass and this one, but its a definatly a great great bass. if a pro needed a back up, or someone was a student, this would be a phenominal buy" he went on to say "the pick up is great and it sounds really good though this amp(ag500 agular 410). i've never heard a realist sound so ...real"
