can someone identify this bass for me. Having a hard time reading the cursive

this is a bass for sale that I'm looking at in the area, so I will have to ask the seller if this picture is not clear enough. He cannot read it either, so I'm hoping the knowledge of the forum can shed some light.

Doubtful. The wood would show some oxidation if it were nearly that old. From the grain I would guess it's a laminate. You can't tell much from the label so ignore that and judge based on overall pics of the instrument.

ok, I searched the forums but could not come up with much other than and association with Glaesel and Conn-Selmer.
