i'm new to these

I got this for free, and i have no idea what to do with it or what it is worth.

it's a 4/4 cello, that about all i know about it.

If you don't know what to do with it and if it's not a complete POS, why don't you look into donating it to a local school orchestra.

Great avatar! As you see a cello is nothing for us over on the doghouse side, but string it up in fourths and play it. You'll have lot's of fun! You can't simply retune the strings that are on it however. Do some archive searching and you'll find everything you need.
