Indianapolis bargain?

Hi all,

This could be an Indianapolis-area bargain:

http://cgi.ebay.com/E-R-Schmidt-3-4-...item2a01b58893

You can buy it now, for $900, and it's supposedly a solid top...

Note, I have no connection with the seller, but know that I'd be checking it out if I lived in the area.

Cheers,

Paul (Eh_train)

I picked it up this morning. Thanks for the heads up. It is a carved top with laminate back and sides. It appears to be in good health. The endpin stinks but that's easily remedied. I may change the tailpiece also. The bridge is fairly old but looks to be in decent shape. The button has been busted off at some point but the repair looks nice and clean and everything appears solid. As for sound I couldn't be happier for the money!! It's nice and loud but not too harsh. The sound is similar to a couple Shen hybrids that I've heard- but a bit mellower without a loss in volume. It bows easily and seems pretty even across the strings. It has a good set up on top of it all!
