Lightbulb Information on this German flat back bass!

Hey all, I'be been playing this bass for the last few years, my dad got it from a guy in Missouri and was later told by a violin luthier that it was an early 1900's. There is a tag on inside that says made in Germany.
If anyone knows anything about this bass and could give me a better handle on the year than I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks
Jasper T.

Nice looking bass but you'll need to post more than two pictures for anyone to help I think

Yeah, you're going to need more photos...back, sides, scroll, heel.... What's on the label?

Dimensions are going to help, top length, bout widths, string length are the minimum. Nice Bill Monroe album cover!

Nice looking bass. I would say your luthier is probably right on the date. Since it has a 'German' label, that would certainly place it after 1871. The bridge seems to be quite a ways off-centre. You may want to have a luthier look at the neck.
