Instrument hire in Toronto June 13th - 19th?

Hi guys,

I'm likely coming over to Toronto from the UK to play at North by Northwest in June and won't be able to bring my double bass with me.

Would anybody be willing to hire me an instrument for approx a week?

Beggars can't be choosers but...

1) Ideally it would have a pickup on it already tho I could bring a Realist if required.

2) It would be setup for jazz gigs (sound / action etc).

Let me know if you're based in Toronto and feel like hiring a bass?

I also will be looking for an electric bass and a bass amp too so if you've got a doubling set up you could probably make a tidy profit off this...!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers

Ian

PS the band is called Sharks Took The Rest

If you are going to be in Toronto and need a bass, you could look into renting one from a number of the music stores in the area that specialize in school/private rentals. I teach high school music and have to do this regularly...rates are very reasonable in most cases. PM me if you need specifics.
