Its pretty surreal...

For the first time in my young life, I feel like my bass gear is...just right.

I don't feel like I need to buy/sell/trade anything. GAS has completely dissapeared. I hope y'all reach this "milestone" because its incredible.

Just wanted to share,

Ben

What's the point of living without GAS?

That's what I was thinking, luckily I've just realized that I still have electric bass gear I want. So I suppose I was stretching the truth a wee bit.

I hope you make it through this dark period of your life and go back to thinking about trying out just 1 set of gut strings or similar.

Wait, the gas will pass? Or passing gas will... Wait, what?

70% of tone is in your fingers. The other 30% is in your other fingers.

I find that when I spend some time away from this forum, the GAS abates. For a while, anyway. Then again, I've been splitting my GAS between bass and keys for the past half-year or so.
