just got my first bass...engelhardt s-1?

just got my first bass, the tag on the inside says engelhardt s-1, serial # 24110. ive seen kay s-1s and engelhard es-1s, but not an engelhardt s-1. any body ever heard of these? how bout the serial? any idea of the age? thanks guys

Congrats...pics? I'm sure someone here will help with that serial number, but if not, try contacting Roger Stowers. You'll find more info on him at www.kaybass.com. He helped me out with the age of mine back when I was swinging an Engle. BTW, I believe the S-1 and ES-1 are both Supremes.
