| Just got a new bass and a great deal
I just got a '95 englehardt EM1, a case and a bow for $300.
The stick of the bow is crap,(cracked) but the frog is nice (ebony?) and the fittings are silver/mother of pearl.
I am so happy, the only downside is that it is sorely in need of a setup (Fingerboard dressing, nut filing, new bridge, soundpost adjustment, etc) So ironically, I am going to spend about one hundred more ($400) getting it set up than what I spent for it.
